Sousse
Sousse is among the oldest of Tunisia's cities. It possesses a medina, which is certified as a World Heritage Site by UNESCO. It is also a very popular destination with people on holiday. The beaches that are found here offer clear turquoise water.
Sousse is a place where all sorts of different cultures can come on holiday and feel comfortable enjoying themselves. There are merchants who speak an interesting mix of languages, such as German, Spanish, English, and French. The city's old section has a fantastic bazaar, wlhere travelers can come to bargain, haggle, and barter for various hand-crafted goods. It is necessary to take these actions because the merchants are known for quoting ridiculous prices upon the first blush. Travelers are encouraged to take this all in stride and have a little fun with the whole negotiating experience.however, it is important to state upfront if there is no real interest in buying something. But there is no solid obligation to purchase anything if the prices are not right.
Sousse's incredible sights are all located inside of the meson in the middle of the city. The most attractive sight in Sousse is the Great Mosque, which is an incredibly tranquil place, even though it sits in the heart of the bustling city. This mosque was built in 850 and is simple and also austere. Reed mats nicely cover the immaculate prayer room. The Mosaic Museum is another popular attraction, which is located in the kasha on the medina's age. Also popular is the traditional Tunisian House, a charming museum. This used to be the house of a family that lived in Tunisia for ages. After the last member of the family died, the house was converted into the museum.
Sousse is a nice place for a holiday. The multiculturalism and rich history make for a very interesting and enjoyable stay.
