Olu Deniz

Located one the Aegean Sea, in the southwest of Turkey, is a small beach resort called Ölüdeniz. Ölüdeniz has the distinction of being one of the Mediterranean’s most photographed beaches. Known as a Blue Flag Beach, Ölüdeniz is also known as being one of the world’s top 5 beaches by tourism journals as well as by travelers. Popular with families, honeymooners and paragliders, Ölüdeniz is a top destination for travelers from all over.

The Blue Lagoon
Clear turquoise waters that are calm and warm make the Blue Lagoon an ideal spot for children and snorkelers alike. Balmy breezes and very little current make this an ideal spot to hang out for the day. Swimming, snorkeling, floating and enjoying the sun are the main activities at this idyllic beach.

Paragliding
Paragliders come from all over to experience gliding over the Blue Lagoon, for the panoramic view of Ölüdeniz and to see stunning views of the Babadağ Mountains. Solo or tandem paragliding is an experience that stands alone. In paragliding, considered an extreme sport, guests sit in comfort as they soar high above the ocean.

The Lycian Way
For those who prefer to keep their feet on the ground, there is the Lycian Way, named after the ancient civilization that once habited the area. Trekkers will delight in following a trail up the mountain on what is known as the Lycian Way. The entire trail is more than 500 km long and ends up on Mount Olympus. Listed as one of the top 10 walks in the world, the trail is marked with red and white stripes along its route.

More attractions in Ölüdeniz include a twelve-island boat cruise, visiting the ruins of Cleopatra’s baths, kayak or canoe excursions and shopping in Fethiye where they are known for leather jackets and Turkish rugs.
